How Taquerio became Santa's Sleigh Station

One summer little did the staff of Taquerio know but they were serving an elf from the North Pole who was on summer vacation enjoying Mystic, CT.  Apparently elves love tacos and this elf REALLY loved the Taquerio tacos. He visited every day of his vacation and even brought his dog (now we know it was really a baby reindeer). We should have known something was up when he would ask for maple syrup, but he came and went.

A letter arrived in the mail for Taquerio with a return address of "Santa- North Pole". To our surprise unbeknownst to us that friendly customer over the summer with the dog was actually one of Santa's elves who worked on Santa's sleigh. He thought the town of Mystic had special magic and the cheer he felt at Taquerio from the staff and customers made him realize Santa could use it. The letter asked if we believed in Santa and if we would be willing to help fuel Santa's sleigh.

After working with the team from the North Pole we were able to set up the new battery to collect Christmas cheer and agreed to let the elves do their magic on Taquerio in the winter. After Halloween a magical transformation will take place specially designed to capture the joy of the holidays. The tastes, sights, and sounds of the holidays will be only be here for a short time and by the time the first daffodil starts to come up Taquerio will be back.
